According to reports, the Food Safety in Tamil Nadu has directed many teams to inspect the rice quality sold in 74 outlets in Chennai. This action from the Food Safety department comes after the rumours about ‘plastic grains’ started in Andhra Pradesh and slowly followed in some regions of TN. Notably, the department did not find any plastic rice grains in Chennai.
