The Switzerland’s Bergün village has reportedly banned people from taking pictures of its "beautiful" scenery, so people do not feel "unhappy" while viewing them online. According to reports, the village announced that "It is scientifically proven that beautiful holiday photos on social media make the viewers unhappy because they cannot be there themselves". Notably, offenders must pay a "symbolic" penalty of 5 Swiss francs.
