BSNL Chairman and Managing Director, Anupam Shrivastava on Monday reportedly announced that BSNL is planning to provide satellite phones service for citizens. However, the satellite phones are only expected to reach the customers only by 2019. Notably, a satellite phone costs around Rs. 40,000. The price of satellite phone is expected to come down once BSNL starts its service.
