New malware hits up to 36.5 million Android devices

Cyber security firm Check Point on Sunday revealed that up to 36.5 million Android devices might have been infected by a new malware codenamed 'Judy'. According to reports, the malware produced fake ad clicks. The firm also announced that the malware originated from 41 apps developed by Korea-based ENISTUDIO Corp. Check Point reportedly said It's "possibly the largest malware campaign found on Google Play." Following the expose, Google has removed the apps from Google Play market.
