According to the latest report by US-based cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab, around 98% of the computers affected by the WannaCry ransomware attack were running versions of Microsoft Windows 7 or below. However, Kaspersky's Director of Research Costin Raiu claimed that the infection distribution on Windows XP computers was insignificant. As for Windows 10, the malware was limited to testers and manual infections.
